This How to guide describes how to optimize weak signal reception by using the AGC-T and AF-Gain controls in PowerSDR. A simple barebones driver written in Python for the Contour ShuttlePRO V1. Remember, the cool thing about the Contour Shuttle is whatever program is active, Contour will automatically find it in their control panel if it is listed and will automatically use it, but you can then easily customize it. You can find these shortcuts in VS help and do a search on "shortcut". Go through these steps to customize the other button.you simply need the shortcut keystrokes to enter into the Contour Shuttle Control Panel buttons. Now, here's the trick.go to your VS time line and click in the time line and the press the "Tab" button, this will activate the jog wheel in VS, so your Contour Shuttle will be able to jog as you intend.you will then be able to use your jog wheel very nicely. Then in the Shuttle Contol Panel click once in the "Keystroke" box, then press the right arrow if you slected the jog wheel right, left if you selected left. so for the jog wheel there is a small trick though to make it work.go into the shuttle pro control panel and jog the middle wheel to the right once and you will see that the "Jog Right" selection is present. If you press any button or jog wheel on the actual shuttle, it will highlight the button to show you which is active. When you open the shuttle control panel, use the drop down box under "Application Setting" and choose "Video Studio 7" and you will see on the right hand side of the screen a picture of the shuttle pro V2. At best the Jog Wheel will change the size of the picture. Im using Monterey 12.6.1 and DaVinci Version 18.1.2 Build 6. Once the software is installed there are a few listings in the Shuttle Control Panel for Video Studio.but for some reason it defaults to VS 7, which is OK because you can change the customization as you see fit. Contour SuttlePro V2 is not working with DaVinci Resolve. This can be overcome using an editing controller like the Contour Shuttle Pro 2.
The video editor does not follow the industry-standard shortcut configuration of using the J, L, and K keys for playing backward, pause, and forward, respectively.

When you install the Shuttle Pro V2 software (get the latest from the contour website) ( ), you will need to enter your email address so they will email you the link to download it. With all these features and performance, I still found myself wanting for a few minor features. I just opened VS X2 and started in on the customization for the Shuttle Pro V2.
